when i was young, i saw some program on tv. this program is look for separated familes. korea is divide south and north. so some family can't live together. when i saw this program, i think they are very unhappy and i had some question for example why only our counry is divide? and why didn't south and north korea reunification? actually i didn't know it is very hard. and i thought l live my parents so it's ok. and if i can't live with my parents, i'm so sad. through this program, i thought i am so happy now because i live with my family. when i felt unhappy, i think the program that i watched. i think this program make me positively.

technology

now, we live with technology such as computer, cellphone and car. actually, i think if we don't have technology, we feel inconvenience. one of most impotant to me is computer. most of people use computer, when they study or work or games. i also use computer for homework, game and study. it is very important. so i can't live without computer. i'm living in chicago, but my parent is living in korea. we are living different country. so i alway talk with my parents on my computer. and i use computer when i search or buy something. For example, i should go my school. if when i go to school first time, i don't know location. so i seach my school's location.

becaus of it, if i don't have computer, i can't live.

movie

though movie project, i could watch 4 movies. i like movie so when i was in korea, i watch so many movies. however i didn't see movie since i come to USA. because i couldn't understand movie. i going to tell about movie. movie name is toy story3. i saw every toy story series. i like it. In this movie, Andy became college student. So he don’t need toy. So his mother decided to send toys to nursery except woody. However every toy went to nursery. When they went to nursery, they met Lotso (bear).Lotso looks like very kindly. But finally toys realize that Lotso is very evil. So they want to leave this nursery. But Lotso blocked them.

I think this movie is very good for children. I like toy story series. When I was young, I saw toy story 1,2. And when I became adult, I saw toy story3. It is still good and excited. Even though this movie is animation, I could feel reality. Every people like this movie.

I really recommend it. When I saw this movie, I really excite and funny. I think this movie is good for children, however also toy story is good for adult. If you see this movie, you don’t regret

Music

In this class, I did presentation about favorit music. that time, i search song "isn't she lovely"

when i was in korea, i didn't know and like pop song, however, i heard pop song by chance at

korean TV show. that song is "isn't she lovely". when i heard this song, i felt very sweet and love.

actually, i didn't know English. so i just heard melody and then i think maybe this singer sang for

this girl friend. however i became know this song is for his daughter.

after i study english , i understand this song's story. it is very sad.

when i knew this song's story, i am more interest than before. so i nearly listen this singer's

songs.

reading

Recently I read article about texting. Before I read about texting, i just think it is very convenient. I like texting with my friends. It is easier than mail. just type on my phone. About 4 years ago, I like text better than call. Always I was texting with my friends.It is not only me but also my friends. However after I read article about texting, i felt it is not always good. If we only texting, we can't feel about emotion. So sometimes we can't understand theirs think.

now , I like call better than text. actually, I am texting. however I am less text than past. I thought texting hasn't shortcoming. but it is not true. even though texting is very easy and convenience, it is not good. so i think we should call more than texting.

caltural identity

In this class, I made porster for my country's culture. In my poster, I want to explain about my country's culture such as korea movie, actor, atress, singer and drama. i think korea's drama and movie is very exciting. so if you have a time, i recommed to wacth them. you won't regret. and I put in some picture for easiler understand in my poster. i wish when you see my poster, you understand my country's culture and you like it.

pop culture.

When I came to Chicago first time, I only knew our country's culture.However I changed many thing since I have been in the US. I felt different between korea and U.S. for example, every thing is no include tax, when we but something and don't forget tip when we go to restuarant. In addition, we always think the U.S have many different systems like a transportation. before 2 years, i came to Chicago, i think now I nearly adapt about america cultures. I'm not still perpect. I thinking now I changing for US culture.

before I take this class, I don't think about pop culture. I thought popculture is not important to me. However I learn many thing of pop culture for taking this class. It is very important to me and other poeple.

we should study pop culture for understanding other country's culture because popculture is their country's mirror.I think when we should study popculture other culture, we can understand each other.
